Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, will open a customer support center at 4041 Jefferson Plaza NE in Albuquerque, N.M. This center will provide additional customer service support and technical capabilities for Canon customers. The 33,682-square-foot Albuquerque center will support small office and consumer imaging products, including digital cameras, camcorders, printers, and copiers. The new location will also support Canon’s growing professional printing, cinema, and eCommerce customers. It is anticipated that the support center will create at least 150 call center positions over a three-year period. The Hewlett Packard Service Center is located in the Rio Rancho City Centre and houses the company’s New Mexico operations.  The  facility is a 218,000 square foot, three story steel frame structure with EIFS exterior walls and metal panel accents. The challenges of the site topography required the south end first floor to be constructed at a “garden level” while the north end first floor is eight feet above ground. In addition, the 25 acre site is located in a futre city business district which required access roads to be constructed as city streets complete with infrastructure for the future downtown. This building is designed to provide a courtyard atmosphere which creates a central access point to both buildings. The strategic positioning on the site allows for ease of ingress and egress to the adjoining Masthead and Rutledge streets without congestion or confusion. The three story building is fully sprinkled and contains approximately 91,884 rentable square feet. In keeping with the architectural style of the area, the design is modern and maximizes the use of glass and natural daylight. The new 52,578 SF facility is a state-of-the-art homeopathic pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution center. The facility consists of an 18,000 SF two story corporate office area and 17,000 SF of production, cleanroom manufacturing and sales spaces.  The warehouse consists of 22′ clear height and 17,000 SF of distribution rack systems. This two story office building is located in the heart of the Journal Center’s Business Park in Albuquerque, NM.  It is the new corporate headquarters for REDW the Rogoff Firm, one of the largest certified public accounting and business consulting firms in the southwest.  The design concept for the is meant to evoke traditional southwestern pueblo architecture with prominent battered walls and deeply recessed windows, and includes metal vigas, canales and canopies; yet has a contemporary fadade.
