Chaparral Materials is a supplier of drywall, framing, ceiling, wall finishes and insulation products. The new facility consists of three buildings; a 50,000 SF concete tilt panel warehouse, a 13,800 SF office and a 16,400 SF storage shed.  Through the design/build process Chaparral Material’s wall and ceiling products were incorporated into the design. Many of the offices feature wall finish products such as Variance, Armour Coat, Tobias, Decoretex and STO. The large showroom features their lines of decorative ceiling products and are integrated in a way that doesn’t give the look of a typical cluttered showroom. First Community Bank

The office building that functions as the corporate offices for First Community Bank (now known as US Bank) is a 30,887 SF three story office complex that houses administrative offices and the banking call services. With an existing building on the property, it was important that the new building adhere to the existing one to create a “campus” feel to the complex. This was accomplished by using similar forms such as the rounded stairways and similarly proportioned windows. The use of different colors and materials serve to breakdown the mass of the building to a more human scale. Laguna Pueblo Utility Authority

Laguna Pueblo,  along with Reid & Associates developed Laguna Pueblo Utility Authority in 2012.  Prior to construction the Utility Authority did not have a proper space or abundant function in the area.  After this project was designed and built, it created a central hub for the tribe.  It is located in the business district of the community and serves as a viable entity for the Pueblo.  It also functions for not only water, waste water and solid waste but for dry utilities such as internet service, utility projects and as a warehouse supply shop to make this a focal point and gathering place in the community. Santa Fe Natural Tobacco

The new headquarters for the Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company (SFNTC) is a one story, 52,000SF neo-pueblo structure. It is designed to recall the historic vernacular of Santa Fe as well as incorporating modern trends in architecture. Most importantly, this new facility is multi-functional with all aspects of SFNTC operations centralized in one location. The building features high bay open work spaces, warehouse space for shipping and receiving and executive offices for high level meetings and presentations. The biggest challenge involved trying to make the employees more comfortable in a smoking enfironment. This was accomplished with a state-of-the-art under floor mechanical system utilizing 42,000 SF of raised plenum access flooring as a delivery mechanism....

Aquatic Consultants, Inc.

The Aquatic Consultants, Inc. (ACI) facility is comprised of an office building and a vehicle storage building. The office building is 9,981 SF and is utilized as the showroom and meeting space for clients to design and re-furbish lakes and streams.  The look of the building is modern with a lodge type feel. It has tube steel trusses and a tongue-and-groove ceiling. It also includes a stone veneer entry and a custom waterfall feature with inlaid stone fish “swimming” through the water. The vehicle storage building was designed to house all of ACI’s equipment. This two story office building is located in the Riverside Plaza, mixed use development. It is designed to accommodate multiple tenants or single floor users.  The building is designed in accordance with the Riverside Plaza development and design guidelines. These criteria dictate that all buildings have traditional New Mexico territorial design elements and detailing. The building incorporates these criteria while maintaining interior contemporary office building requirements in terms of layout, building services, interior bay spacings and use of systems and materials.
