Century Bank Rio Rancho is a 13,500 sf office building that houses a 5,000 sf full-service bank, and 5,500 sf of leasable office space and is constructed to LEED gold standards. The site was selected on the east side of NM 528 and Montoya Rd. which provides good visibility and access in the commercial center of Rio Rancho. It creates a strong presence and leadership in responsible development for the community.
Construction for Century Bank broke ground March 2012 and was complete by December 2012. All tenants have access to a large southeast-facing garden roof deck that has unobstructed views to the Sandia mountains. The bank has four covered drive-up banking lanes and one drive-up ATM lane. With a landmark clock tower and LEED Gold standards, the building employs progressive energy and design concepts. Features include a highly efficient Daikin mechanical system, solar photovoltaic panels, a water harvesting system, an insulating garden roof deck, and passive solar shading paired glazing maximized to utilize natural light during working hours. The building is clad in locally quarried stone, stucco, and pollution neutralizing composite metal panels.
