Matthew Proehl
CPC, LEED AP
Senior Project Manager
Matthew Proehl, a Construction Management graduate of Colorado State University, has been in the construction industry for over 17 years. His experience is both as a Field Superintendent and a Project Manager has served him well on some very technical and challenging projects. His experience encompasses healthcare, education, commercial and advanced energy management. Matthew came to Reid & Associates, LLC in 2009 as a Senior Project Manager.
Matthew enjoys working with younger people in the industry as a mentor. He sat on the Professional Advisory Development Board at Colorado State University for 8 years. This allowed him to share “on the job” experiences to faculty and students helping to create a real world curriculum for the department of Construction Management. He also chaired the Construction Leadership Council on both local and national levels.
What brought me to the industry is the challenge of Building in dynamic situations. “I have always enjoyed problem solving and construction gives me opportunities to problem solve on a daily basis. Our industry is built on the concept of “out of the box” thinking. I have traveled extensively and can adapt to most situations. I have the ability to listen to what the client wants and to follow through with the integration of that idea into the project.”
