Senior Project Manager
A graduate of the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. John is a fifteen year veteran of the construction industry. After extensive experience in project management and estimating, John joined Reid & Associates, LLC in 2003 as a Project Manager seeking synergy between design and construction. He was later promoted to Senior Project Manager and has received professional credentials such as LEED Accredited Professional and is currently the only general contractor in New Mexico to receive Design Build Professional™ designation from the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA). John enjoys the teamwork approach to design build construction and has overseen the successful completion of the three largest projects in the history of the company. Starting in the industry, even prior to attaining his college degree, through today, his career has covered a wide range of experiences in vertical construction. This includes experience as a tradesperson, field supervisor, management of residential construction, management of publicly funded projects, design build projects, and privately negotiated projects.
