This 38,746 SF facility is the first Honda dealership designed using Honda America’s new corporate identity standards. Honda hopes to use this format throughout the United States.
The building site is a four tiered, 6.5 acre area that climbs the hill that connects Albuquerque to Rio Rancho. The site constraints required over 16,000 SF of segmented retaining walls and four sets of 96″ underground storm water ponds. The building itself straddles two different levels of the site, going from a two-story to a one-story structure.
A new landmark for the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho metro area, this cutting edge automotive dealership and showroom boasts wireless internet, flat screen televisions and even Starbuck’s coffee for the customers. An East facing outdoor observation deck gives customers and staff a 50 mile panoramic view of the Sandia Mountains, the Rio Grande Valley, Santa Fe and downtown Albuquerque.
