Southwest Steel Coil, Inc., a subsidiary of Calstrip Industries, has expanded their operations to Mission, TX with a new 95,000 SF, high-bay facility. Southwest Steel Coil specializes in the processing and distribution of flat-rolled steel and aluminum. The facility can process flat-rolled carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy aluminum, galvanized and pre-painted in slit coil, travers-wound narrow slit coil, and cut-to-length sheets with gages ranging from .010” – .250”. The new facility contains two overhead cranes, a Braner slitter, and two rail spurs that allow for direct rail car access into the facility. Southwest Steel Coil will source customers in New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and bordering cities in Mexico as the new facility is located only two miles from the closet Port of Entry into Reynosa, Mexico.
